Jaheel Hyde, Fernando Gaviria & David Boudia will be competing in the Rio Olympics

 As many people look forward to the Olympics in Rio to cheer their favorite sports personalities, there are a few sportsmen that you need to pay attention to.

Jaheel Hyde

Hyde is a field and track athlete from Jamaica and won gold in 2014 in the 400m hurdles during the junior world championships in Oregon, and in 2015 he posted a world youth record of 12.96 in 110m hurdles event in the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing to win gold. The 18-year-old now has his sights set on Rio 2016.

Fernando Gaviria

Fernando Gaviria is a Colombian a professional cyclist. Gaviria proved himself as one of the best young riders on the track by winning the 2015 world championships omnium title. As he heads for Rio, his sights are set on bagging the gold in the multi-race category. Gaviria has won the omnium at seven different events: in 2013, 2014, thrice in 2015, and in 2016. The fresh, young, hardworking, and gifted Gaviria will be hitting around the track in search of gold.

David Boudia

Boudia and Johnson are the only U.S. pair in the men’s synchronized platform field in Rio. It is Boudia’s third appearance at the Olympic Games. In 2010 at Ohio State Big Ten Tournament, Boudia won the Big 10 Male Tower Diving event and became the first American to break 600 points in six dives. He also became the first US diver to place first since 2000 when he won gold at the London Olympics in 2012. If he wins gold in Rio, he will be the first American diver to win back-to-back gold in the summer games since Greg Louganis in 1988.
